MEET JAN...

Jan’s background includes over three decades of counseling experience. Her experience includes a private practice with adults and young people as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, career counseling and coaching at UCI Women's Opportunity Center, career and personal counseling at Saddleback College and High School counseling at Laguna Beach High School.

She is listed in Richard Bolles "What Color is Your Parachute?" book and has been in several of his training sessions. Jan has studied in the Hudson Institute and is a graduate of “Life/launch” that helps adults in transition. She is a certified trainer for Career Choices.

Jan is a popular conference speaker. Her topics have included the cycle of change, left brain/right brain learning, staying hardy in difficult times, keeping the creative soul alive, Good times, bad times and paradigms, relationship issues, validating others and yourself, How to evaluate and understand behaviors and many more.

Prior to retirement, she taught a “Human Relationships” class to a full house each semester at Saddleback College. Some say instead of tuition, there should be a charge for admission because it is so entertaining! Occasionally, she teaches an eight week session of the course at Saddleback.
